Welcome to Shining Spiral - A Waldorf-Inspired Journey in Ahmedabad
At Shining Spiral, we believe that education is not merely about imparting knowledge; it's a journey of nurturing the inherent goodness, beauty, and truth within each child. Founded in 2016 by a group of like-minded parents and educators, our school is rooted in the philosophy that the environment provided to a child in the early years forms the bedrock for their future.
Since our inception, Shining Spiral has grown from a seed of an idea to a thriving educational community. In 2017, we began our operations with a playgroup class, and over the years, we have expanded to offer classes up to the 4th standard. Along the way, we have achieved significant milestones, including recognition by IASWECE in 2020 and collaboration with Friends of Waldorf in 2021 to welcome German volunteers into our school community.
In 2024, we were honored to be featured by Krishi Jagran for our innovative approach to integrating farming into our curriculum, further enriching the educational experience we offer to our students.
Our Philosophy
Central to our educational philosophy is the belief that education is an artistic process. We embrace the Waldorf philosophy, which emphasizes engaging the head, heart, and hands of each child in the learning process. Our curriculum is designed to nurture creativity, imagination, and critical thinking while fostering a deep reverence for nature and a sense of harmony with the world around us.
