Kindergarten
The early years (0 to 7) have been called the formative years. The quality of life a child would lead, depends to a large extent on these first few years. At Shining Spiral, we create the environment most conducive for the healthy development of the child. We recognize, protect and nurture the ‘dignity of childhood’. You can see children hanging from the trees, immersed in soil/sand and nature.
Grades
Children move into the second phase of childhood at age six or seven. The child is now ready for instruction, for rules, for being guided by a ‘loving authority’, the teacher into formal learning. This shift is treated carefully, however. It is unreasonable, and may even be harmful, to expect performance or achievement that is not commensurate with a child’s age.
